The 160 official ones are from Chapter VI ("Reviewer") of the LTO's Filipino Driver's Manual, Volume 1, 2nd Edition — the LTO publishes it for licence applicants. That covers 100 Nonprofessional questions and all 60 road-sign questions, with the sign images taken from the same manual. The other 152 are written from Republic Act 4136 and the road-safety laws the LTO enforces, and each one shows the section it comes from, like "RA 4136 §35(b)". None of them come from the reviewer sites you find on Google.
The manual's section on examinations (p.33) only says the theoretical exam follows your DL Classification and DL Code — it does not print an item count or a passing mark, and neither does the LTO Citizens Charter we could reach. Reviewer sites widely quote 40 items with 30 to pass for non-professional, and our mock exam uses that. Treat it as the commonly reported format rather than something we verified in an LTO document.
A Student-Driver's Permit needs Filipinos at least 16 years old; below 18 you need parental or guardian's consent. For a new Non-Professional Driver's License you must be at least 17 (18 for foreigners), have held the SP for at least one month, and have passed the practical driving course. The SP itself is valid for one year from issuance.
The manual states that failed applicants may re-apply after seven (7) calendar days. It also warns that a practical driving test conducted outside the LTO's designated test route is declared null and void — so make sure yours is done on the authorised route.
A new DL is valid for five (5) years, counted from the licensee's date of birth. If you hold a clean record with no traffic violation during the five-year period before it expires, you are entitled to a renewal valid for ten (10) years. Accumulate 10 or more demerit points and renewal requires the Driving Enhancement Program plus the theoretical exam again.
This set covers Non-Professional applicants — motorcycle (A, A1) and light vehicles (B, B1, B2). The LTO sits the theoretical exam per DL Classification and DL Code, so the Professional and Conductor's License question sets are different papers; we keep them separate rather than mixing them into one exam you would never actually take.
